As second term began in Primary and Secondary schools, so did the book clubs for both arms in the 100 schools. The facilitators and volunteers have been working to see that they cover all the books needed before the World Book Capital phase of Book Clubs rounds off in March.
The children are enthusiastic to be in their clubs again after their Christmas break. By March it is expected that the Reading Tree members would have read about 39 books and the Book Club students would have read 12 books. There is a great expectation of finishing strong in this program of the project.
