One of the ways to sustain a reading habit is by making books available to the public. The Rainbow Book Club has solicited for the set up of community libraries and the refurbishment of school libraries. To this end, on December 12 2009 we opened our first library at St. Benedicts Catholic Primary School, Ogoja in partnership with Skye Bank, the Government of Cross Rivers State and Brigadier-General Anthony Ukpo (who comes from Ogoja). In 2010 we also donated books towards the setting up of a library in a home for street children in Kahawa Sukari, Nairobi. Later in 2010 we worked with a family to open another library in Okpoma near Ogoja.
