29 year old Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀̀ is among six contenders for the Baileys Women’s Prize for her book Stay with Me.

The Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction was founded in 1996 to celebrate excellence, originality and accessibility in writing by women throughout the world. This year’s prize is the last one that will be sponsored by Baileys and the winner of the £30,000 prize will be anonymously endowed on 7th June 2017 at an award ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall.
